Issue 1/2014 of Transsylvania Nostra Journal was dedicated to the celebration of architect Mrs. EKE Éva’s birthday. Mrs. architect, along her activity of more than two decades in the field of building conservation at the Utilitas – Built Heritage Conservation Research and Design Centre, took part at several historic building conservation projects. She interceded at important historic buildings, such as the Roman-Catholic church of Cluj- Mănăştur, the Unitarian church in Cluj-Napoca, the Orthodox wooden church in Rogoz, the Roman-Catholic church in Mociu, the János Zsigmond High School from Cluj-Napoca, the Apor Palace in Alba Iulia, the birth place of Bocskai in Cluj-Napoca, etc. The authors of the journal’s first number in 2014 expressed their respect for the activity of architect Mrs. EKE Éva through the articles they have written.
