The volume includes the lectures of the 13^th edition of the Conference Series on Theoretical and Practical Issues on Built Heritage Conservation – TUSNAD, on the topic Realistic Approach to Built Heritage Conservation. Choosing Baia Mare as venue for this event was a courageous initiative from the organisers, the “Conference from Tuşnad” thus becoming a visible name, a  distinction, but also the extraordinary possibility for the participants to study and analyse in situ the project from Baia Mare, which proved to be the prototype of a rehabilitation and development project of heritage values carried on with the aid of EU.
